Grading transparency
Will restoration make my card altered?
It is a common misconception that professionally restored cards are automatically likely to be returned as altered. The result depends greatly on how the work is performed and which products and techniques are used.
The risk can increase when excessive wax is used to conceal scratches or when too much heat is applied during restoration. Our work is deliberately conservative, with careful control of every treatment.
Our experience
We have never had one of our own cards or a customer's card returned as altered after our treatment. We protect that record by assessing every card individually and avoiding aggressive methods.
Grading decisions are made independently by the grading company. No restoration service can guarantee a specific grade or classification.
